Pick a Place, or Let Me Help You Pick

Some families come to me knowing exactly where they want to go. Others just know they want warm water, a pool the kids won't want to leave, and a little time to read a book. Either one works. Here are the places I plan most often, and if yours isn't here, ask me anyway.

Beach umbrellas on a sunny beach in Mexico
Mexico
Cancun, Cabo and Mexico City

Mexico is one of my favorite places to send families. Cancun and the Riviera Maya have all-inclusives built for kids and parents alike, Cabo has that desert-meets-ocean scenery, and Mexico City is an amazing trip for families who love food, history and museums.

I'll help you choose the resort that fits your crew, from kids clubs and splash pads to adults-only options for a parents' getaway.

Caribbean beach with palm trees and clear blue water
The Caribbean
Puerto Rico, Turks and Caicos, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica

Every island has its own personality. Puerto Rico is easy for U.S. families because you don't need a passport, Turks and Caicos is all about that famous water, and the Dominican Republic and Jamaica have some of the best family all-inclusives around.

I'll match you with the island and the resort that make sense for your family.

Green trees beside the blue sea in Costa Rica
Central America
Costa Rica and Belize

For families who want a little more adventure with their beach time. Wildlife, rainforest, zip lines and snorkeling, with the pace planned so the adventure days are balanced out with pool days (and nobody is too wiped out to enjoy dinner).

The Colosseum in Rome, Italy
Europe
Italy, France, the UK, Germany and Croatia

I lived in Rome and spent a lot of time traveling around Italy and the rest of Europe, so this one is personal. Europe with kids is so doable with the right plan: the right neighborhood for your hotel, trains booked ahead, and days that aren't packed so full that everyone melts down by 3pm.
